The Main Topic of Conversation Among Women? WEIGHT!
This Friday, I will be with all my girls for a much needed "Ladies Night Out". It's been ages since we've done that. I am looking so forward to getting together, but I can guarantee, the main topics of conversation will be about two things:
Men.
This will be a short conversation, because we will quickly come to the conclusion that we have no control over men. So the topic will shift to this.......
Weight.
We can go on about this subject all night long. Who's lost it and gained it all back. Who wants and needs to lose it. Who can't eat what because they are trying to lose weight or they're afraid to gain weight. Who thinks they look fat in the outfit they have on that night. Even the model-thin member of the group will complain that she's put on a few pounds since menopause. And no, I am not the model- thin one in my circle of girls. Nope. She's the mother of five, in her late 50's, who eats whatever she wants and never works out. She proudly parades around in a bikini at the beach and looks amazing. She's got great genes and a kickin' metabolism that burns up everything she eats. That's rare and God bless her, but we all secretly despise her. We know it's wrong, but we can't help it. I am a nutrition and weight specialist, yet even I can't eat whatever I want all the time and especially if I don't work out regularly! Obesity runs in my family. My body really wants to be fat because it's in my genes and I have to work at keeping it from completely taking over!
Every time women get together, they talk about weight, the latest fad diets and all those deprivation -starvation plans that promise unbelievable results in record time. They discuss all the methods they've tried and how every single one has failed. Here's what I find interesting. Weight is the most popular topic of discussion, but yet it's an issue we haven't resolved. How do I know this? Those constantly talking about weight, still need to lose it!
Everyone is bitching about weight, but bitching doesn't burn it off!
Of course, I always chime in with my approach to Weight Release. I don't like to call it Weight Loss. Loss implies that we've lost something and hope to find it again. Release means letting go - for GOOD! It's just a little mind-trick I teach my clients. A few of my friends are actually clients The rest of them refuse to listen. They've been brain washed when it comes to shedding excess weight, but everything they think they know is wrong .Why? Take a good look around and see for yourself.
We have access to every diet and plan and weight loss gimmick out there, yet, in the US alone, 68.5% of adults are overweight or obese; 34.9% are obese!**
Weight Loss is BIG BUSINESS. They're banking on our failure! If we succeed at losing weight the very first time and keep it off for the rest of our lives, guess what? We're not coming back! They need us to come back so they can keep making money.
Weight Release - getting rid of excess weight FOREVER, doesn't require fad diets or starvation and deprivation, but it does require a life-style change. No other way around it!
If you are tired of complaining about your weight or you're frustrated because you've wasted so much money on fad diets and plans that ultimately did not work, perhaps it's time to consider a new and different approach.
My approach will definitely work IF you are determined and dedicated. I am totally committed to your success. How about you? Shoot me an email or hit me up on the live chat and let's find out!
