Natural Soda

My latest indulgence...............

I am not a huge fan of soda, but every once in awhile, I crave something a little fizzy and slightly sweet. I usually make my own with sparkling mineral water and unsweetened fruit juice or fresh fruit; whatever I happen to have in the house: lemons, limes, oranges, strawberries, peaches.......

Come on, let's face it. We really don't always have time or patience to make our own soda. We want to pop open a can or bottle and enjoy something right away. When I was in Los Angeles a few months ago, my brother turned me on to Hansen's All Natural Soda. I was skeptic at first. Natural soda? Seriously? This was surprisingly good and very refreshing. It satisfied my craving for fizzy and sweet without all that added white, processed sugar or artificial flavors and colors.  I was hooked.

I add a bit of sparkling mineral water to mine to cut the sugar even more.  Hansen's is sweetened with natural cane sugar, which is better than the alternative but still-- sugar is sugar and too much is never a good thing.

My son loves Hansen's, too.  I keep cans of it in the fridge because he is a BIG soda drinker. It's not the ultimate choice in healthy drinks, but it's definitely better for him than Coke, Pepsi or Mountain Dew!

Of course, making your own drinks with water and fresh fruit is the best choice for your health, wellness and weight loss efforts, but if you have a serious soda habit, Hansen's All Natural Soda is great product to try if you're looking to kick your addiction.  If you want to learn more about kicking the soda habit, contact me today and I will you teach how!

You can find Hansen's All Natural Soda at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, health food stores and in the natural foods section of your local grocery store.

Enjoy............
