Do YOU Tofu?
Well, if you don't, you should! If you've tried it and don't like it, consider giving it another chance.
Tofu is a wonderful plant-based source of protein. And it's so versatile. On it's own, tofu is rather tasteless, but add it to something else and it quickly absorbs the flavor. Tofu is excellent instead of chicken in stir fries. It blends beautifully and you can use it as a base for cream sauces, like Vegan Fettucini Alfredo. You can blend tofu with a bit of plain soy or almond milk and use it instead of sour cream or mayo. Just add all your other favorite herbs and spices and you've got a healthy dip for veggies or chips. Crumble it in a pan and cook it up just like scrambled eggs. So delicious. I even use tofu to create the most amazing chocolate cream pie!
There are tricks to tofu you need to know. Different types and tips for different uses and recipes. Also, when choosing tofu, read your labels carefully. Make sure it is organic and non- GMO.
